 A pentagram (sometimes known as a pentalpha, pentangle or star pentagon) is the shape of a five-pointed star.  The pentagram has been used as a religious symbol throughout the world from the beginning of recorded history. The most basic pentagram is simply a five-point star drawn with one continuous line broken into five line segments and with one point of the star facing up. Today, however, when we say “pentagram,” we usually mean “a five-point star with one or two circles drawn around it.” Sometimes such a symbol includes other small markings denoting a particular magick sigil  


 A pentacle is a talisman that is used in magical evocation, and is usually made of parchment, paper, or metal, upon which a magical design is drawn  The Pentacle is the best representation of Nature. The Four elements of Nature: Earth (lower left point), Air (upper left point), Fire (lower right point) and Water (upper right point), are best represented by the points of the Pentacle.  The Pentacle represents good and pure and white magick, a symbol of light and love. Firstly, it symbolizes the North, South, East, West and the Spirit. Second, it symbolizes the Earth, Water, Air, the Spirit and the divine. Third, it symbolizes the God and the Goddess. If encased within a circle, it means wholeness and unity of all quadrants and the elements and our ultimate love for Nature.
