A Tree of Life. 

You are strong enough to stand alone 

and triumph over difficulties 

like the rugged Ash 

tolerating nothing poisonous 

within its strongly branched shadow. 

The medicinal sap within its buds and bark 

show that you have the power 

to easily remedy a situation. 

You firmly cling to what you know is right, 

just as the dense, fibrous roots of the Ash 

grasp the earth that  holds them. 

You are safe from harm in the same way 

that when the Ash is cut down, 

it revives easily and springs up 

as a young sapling. 

You may soon be spreading your wings 

and taking flight to new pastures, 

like the winged Ash seeds carried 

by the winds of Fall.

the slender Silver Birch. 

Mother Nature presides over this tree, bringing maternal protection, a deepening relationship with your mother, and the encouragement to learn new skills. Babies' cradles were made of Birch, signifying that an idea will materialize if it is nurtured. 

Like the Silver Birch, which grows almost anywhere its seeds fall, you will make the most of opportunities. 

The traditional witches' Birch broom implies a fresh sweep around Hallowe'en, and magical miracles as if by luck.  Purity and Springtime, symbolized by the silvery-white bark, indicate happiness..

the Elder tree, superstitiously nicknamed 

"Elder Queen" and "Good Mother" 

protects trees, fairies, and you from harm. 

You may draw strength from advice rooted 

in bonds with your mother or grandmother. 

Just as the pith when dipped in oil and burned can be lit and put to float in a glass of water, new light will be shed on a matter you are reflecting upon. As the Elder flowers of Spring depart as ripe, purple berries in the Gall, the significance of what you put in reveals what you might expect. A dream may bring a prediction, should you fall asleep under and Elder tree.

All will be well for you. 

The Hawthorn has magical powers to ward off evil. 

A happy turning point is forecast. 

At dusk on May Eve, candles are lit on the Hawthorn, 

or May tree as it is also known, to welcome Summer. 

Bright gifts bringing happiness are coming; so, too, are positive signs. An upsetting situation is improving because the Hawthorn tree offers numerous medicinal remedies. But this twiggy thorny tree, with its white-stalked flowers with red anthers, also advises caution. Christ's crown of thorns was said to be of Hawthorn and, being the color of blood and bandages, traditionally it is unlucky to bring May blossom into the home.

The answer to a dilemma is imminent. 

The Hazelnut is a magical tree for relaying messages, which is why a Y-shaped Hazel branch is used for divination. 

You will crack a situation: 

the Hazelnut tree bestows powers of wisdom, symbolized by the cracking of the nutshell to get to the nourishment inside.  The nut and shell also represent the heart 

within the body and female fertility, because the nut is like a baby inside a mother's womb. With such life-giving qualities, this tree is an auspicious sign that love and new projects have the magical ingredients for success. 

Male and female flowers, being borne on separate trees, 

forecast a lover's meeting.

"The Rowan Tree forecasts a bright future for you. 

Red being the color of fire, Rowan means "flame." 

What you need will gravitate toward you in the same way that the Rowan's red berries give it power to attract birds. Patience is indicated by the life-giving properties of energy and protection that the Rowan symbolizes. 

There is a sign that something is coming soon, because the Rowan is one of the first trees to bud. May Poles are made from the Rowan, so flirtations and romance are forecast. A merry-go-round begins, bringing people together by magical charm. The Rowan also brings protection, as it has always been used to make amulets to guard against evil and ills."

Your blessing cannot be prevented, because heaven and fate have preordained your great success. 

If you sit under an Oak tree, you may see an angel sent to give you a message. You may instead hear an answer whispered in the rustling of the Oak's leaves or its hollow trunk.
